Multifunctional Diagnostic Tester for Development, Production and After-Sales | Q-Tester
Q-Tester.Expert is a Multifunctional Diagnostic instrument based on ODX(ASAM MCD-2D/ISO 22901-1), which is consistent with international standard. We can use it to exchange data with ECU. The advantage of our solution based on the ODX international standard is that the ODX database can not only be interacted with the development department, but can also be released to the production and after-sales department after encryption. It ensures that the diagnostic data on tool chains is homogeneous and uses uniform international standard data format and data definition. With respect to diagnostic testing of developed models or platforms, Q-Tester.Expert requires no further maintenance. If you need to support some new car models and new platforms, you only need to upgrade the ODX database. Compared with software maintenance, maintaining the ODX database can greatly reduce the workload. It also avoids the time cost of interacting with vendors, as well as the investment of software development.
Currently, Q-Tester's functionality has been extended to production and after-sales, with optimized interface design and functional enhancements, delivering an enhanced user experience.
I. Q-Tester Provides Two Kinds of UI
■ Q-Tester.Workshop:
Used for production and after-sales with simplified and user-friendly UI.
■ Q-Tester.Expert:
Applicable to the development of ECU, requiring expertise in diagnostic development.
Ⅱ. Functions of Q-Tester.Expert
The function of Q-Tester.Expert consists of two parts, ECU diagnostic and vehicle diagnostic.
■ ECU diagnostic functions:
• Service
• DTC
• Data Display
• Write
• Soft Key
• Flash
• Coding
• Scope
• OEM Specific
■ Vehicle diagnostic functions:
• Vehicle Status
• Vehicle Coding
• Vehicle Flashing
• Bus Trace
• ECU List
• Sequence
• OBD
• OEM Specific
Ⅲ. Flash Plugin
Designed for ECU flashing. The flashing process is executed by loading reprogramming files with corresponding configurations. Supported file formats currently include: Hex/S19/BIN/Zip/VBF.
Ⅳ. Sequence Plugin
The Sequence control supports the QSL sequential language, enables customization of diagnostic sequences through service/statement additions, it can perform different services of different ECUs in a sequence, also supports loading and executing ISO 13209-compliant OTX files.
Ⅴ. DataDisplay Plugin
DataDisplay plugin that reads the DID information of the ECUs and displays the data in list, chart, curve or gauge pannel ect. This module also has cycle function and cycle time is adjustable.
Besides, several groups of data can be separated or merged by clicking Separate or Merge.
Ⅵ. Vehicle Status Plugin
Vehicle Status can read DID information and DTC of whole Vehicle ECUs, DTC can be cleared as well. Supports report generation which can be saved as *.txt, *.xml or *.html format.
Ⅶ. DTC Plugin
Enables reading and clearing of DTCs from ECUs, with configurable capabilities to read extended frames and freeze frame information associated with fault conditions.
Ⅷ. Vehicle Flash Plugin
Support flashing for the whole vehicle ECUs.
Ⅸ. Layout Configuration Function
Provides 8 different layout structures to choose during configuration, and you can add a plugin to each layout page.
X. Bus Trace Function
Bus Trace supports displaying real-time diagnostic messages, saving traces, and enabling filtering messages.
XI. DoIP Traffic Viewer Function
The Traffic Viewer can monitor and filter DoIP traffic in real time. And it can clearly view information such as time, address, length, and protocol. Besides, it can adjust the information to a suitable format for viewing.
XII. Snapshot Data Function
The Save button in the upper right corner can save the information filled and executed as an xml file, and stored in the Snapshot Data folder. And the saved data file can be used by clicking Open button.
XIII. Global Variables Function
The commonly used configuration parameters can be saved through the variable configuration function, and the saved data can be exported as excel format. The exported excel sheet can also be imported into the variable configuration function interface for repeated use to improve test efficiency.
XIV. TCP Reconnection Function
When a DoIP enabled ECU enters Boot mode, TCP sometimes disconnects, at this point, ECU will restart and re-establish communication through the diagnostic tester. The D-PDU API version can be automatically reconnected without configuring Vehicle ID Request and Delay controls. It is convenient for users to use.
XV. Customizable UI
According to customer's requirement, language, skin, icons, etc. can be changed accordingly, and the project path can also be changed.
